Travel Tip Tuesday – Remembering the essentials when packing

It’s easy when packing to get so excited for your adventure that you forget the very simplest (but sometimes most important) things. So not matter if your heading to snow or sunshine, here is a simple list for the essentials that every traveller will need!

1.     Sun cream

No matter if it’s the mountains or the beach you’re heading to you will need sun cream – the worst thing to happen is that on the first few days of your travels you get so sunburnt and have no sun cream to apply!

2.     Portable charge

These are so useful especially when camping, overnight buses or during a power cut so don’t forget to pack one! And remember the pack the charging cable too!

3.     Fleece jumper

Even if you’re headed to the desert the evens can be deceptively cold so remember a fleece jump never goes a miss.

4.     Plug adapter

 Every country has its own unique plug socket, so it is worth buying a universal plug adapter and remember to pack it!

5.     Copy of your passport / ID card

It is so important that you carry a photocopy (or two!) of your passport or ID card in case you misplace the original. This will make getting you a new one so much easier!
