You are probably going to need to take a flight or two on your travels and for some this is not the most relaxing experience ever. There are lots of timings to remember, passport, boarding pass, bags and so much more. So here are this Tuesday’s Travel tips for flying.

Tip 1: Get to the airport in plenty of time!

No matter what anyone says getting there early is so important – there is no worse way to start your travels than with a missed flight!

Tip 2: Drink lots of water

Hydration is key when flying. Strangely enough you get more dehydrated flying than you do when not. Therefore make sure you’ve got a full reusable (obviously!) water bottle for your flight and keep taking small sips.

Tip 3: Some sort of pillow

We’d recommend a neck pillow but some people despise them. However you can now get lots of different types and styles to sleep all sleeping beauties. These are definitely a winner and you can arrive at your destination a little more refreshed.

Tip 4: Pack some flip-flops or similar

There is nothing worse then waking up mid flight and needing the loo to only realise that you have to untie your laced shoes and then retie them just to walk ten steps. To avoid this we recommend packing a pair of flipflops, sliders or Birks so that you can just slip them on and away you go.

Tip 5: Eye-mask and ear plugs

Not a lot to be said about why its essential to have these two critical items with you!

So now you have all your top tips for flying and away you go!
